MTG Codex

Just yesterday the new Elspeth deck list for the forthcoming Duel Deck was spoiled on MTG Salvation.  I know of at least one person (myself not included) who is very excited about the prospects of snagging another Elspeth at a reasonable price.  Well, here is the chance, and here is what you’ll get!

Memoricide is essentially a reprint of an old favorite Cranial Extraction (minus the “arcane,” of course).  Not the bombtastic revelation I was hoping for in our next Scars of Mirrodin spoiler, but that’s alright.  Memoricide will be an excellent card if prefaced in standard by Duress and Inquisition of Kozilek.  It could also be powerful if cast alongside a Conundrum Sphinx or, dare I say, a Merfolk Spy?   Ok, that’s pushing it – let’s pair Memoricide with Telepathy then, shall we?

The Scars of Mirrodin set will be released on October 1, 2010.
